SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support position made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace read more to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
