SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed concerning the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully SRD functional office devoted to service the area each day. The click here services stage produced for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to empower the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
